One dead, one critically injured in Humboldt Park shooting

CHICAGO (WLS) -- One man is dead and another is critically injured after a shooting in Chicago's Humboldt Park neighborhood.

Police say the fatal shooting occurred around 3:25 p.m. in the 3400-block of West Chicago Avenue. Police say the shooter opened fire on two men, one 16-year-old and one 21-years-old. The victims were taken to Stroger Hospital where one of the young men was pronounced dead.

Police are investigating the shooting. They have not identified the victims or specified which one died.
