88-year-old man robbed of $120 bag of coins

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A trio of robbers targeted an 88-year old Chicago man - for his $120 bag of coins, police said.

Peter Meyn was walking to the bank two weeks ago to deposit the bag of coins. He had planned to use the money to fix a hot water heater when someone snatched the bag and took off.

The robbery happened near the Devon Bank at Western and Devon.

Meyn attempted to run after the crook but fell and broke his nose.
