CHICAGO (WLS) -- A pair of road construction projects that start Monday could cause headaches for some Chicago drivers.

First, Wacker Drive' s westbound ramp that feeds traffic from Lake Shore Drive to Upper Wacker will be shut down for repair work.

That ramp will reopen temporarily on April 22 to help with traffic flow during the NFL Draft. After the draft, the ramp re-closes for six more weeks.

The second road project is the North Avenue pedestrian bridge over Lake Shore Drive. The work is going to be done overnight, which also means lane closures on LSD. Pedestrians and bicyclists should use the LaSalle Street underpass to get to the lakefront. The work is expected to last through the end of June.

For Cubs fans who plan to attend Monday's game, it's all worth it.
