A University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign student told police that she was sexually abused over the weekend at a fraternity house, according to a campus police email sent to the U of I community.
The student said the attacked happened Saturday by "a person known to the victim," said the Campus Safety Notice email, which was sent on Monday.
The university "is providing resources to assist those involved in the incident and will continue to take actions to maintain the safety and security of the campus community," the email said.
