ST. LOUIS -- The Chicago Blackhawks will try Friday night to even their first-round playoff series with the St. Louis Blues at a game apiece.

Blues goalie Brian Elliott thwarted Chicago's high-powered offense in a 1-0 overtime victory in Game 1. It was St. Louis' first 1-0 overtime playoff game since a 2004 loss to San Jose.

The Hawks also are hoping to get a boost from defenseman Duncan Keith, who's returning from a multi-game suspension.

Game 2 starts at 7:30 p.m.
