Police warn of armed carjackings on NW Side

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Police are warning about a series of armed carjackings targeting people in three Chicago neighborhoods on Chicago's Northwest Side.

According to police, the most recent happened just after 9 p.m. on April 20, 2016 in the 5600-block of West Waveland. No one has been injured.

Residents in the Albany Park, Jefferson Park and Portage Park neighborhoods are urged to be alert.
