DEKALB, Ill. (WLS) -- Federal investigators are looking into a possible connection after a rash of threats to schools across the country.

Some of these threats led to the evacuations of schools in Naperville, DeKalb and Pleasant Prairie, Wis.

Students and staff at Clinton Rosette Middle School in DeKalb evacuated the building Monday and were transported to the sports and recreation center at 1765 S 4th Street, according to a statement posted to the District 428 website.

Authorities said the threats to schools in several others states were described as robotic sounding.
