Chicago Police continue search for suspect in robbery of girl, 12

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Three thieves robbed a 12-year old girl in Chinatown two weeks ago and now police have stepped up their search for one suspect who's still on the loose.

The girl was robbed while walking in the 200 block of 23rd street.

Three people approached her and took her cellphone.

An off-duty officer became aware of the incident and helped the girl. She was not hurt.

Police caught two of the robbers and the third one got away.
