CHICAGO (WLS) -- Seven baby ducklings were rescued early Saturday from a sewer drain near O'Hare International Airport by Chicago police officers, CPD said.

At about 10 a.m., CPD was called to assist two women who were trying to rescue a family of ducklings when they became trapped in the sewer near the United Airports Credit Union on an airport service road.

The five officers -- Floyd Eppling, Timothy Bolger, Carlos Soria, Martin McNaughton and John Conway - removed the sewer cover and lowered themselves to rescue the ducklings.
