Lake Shore Drive to close Sunday morning for Bike the Drive

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Lake Shore Drive will close down starting at 5 a.m. Sunday for the 15th annual Bike the Drive event in Chicago.

Bicyclists will ride the length of LSD - about 30 miles. The road will be closed from Bryn Mawr to 57th Street until 11 a.m.

Bicyclists are encouraged to start their ride by 7 a.m. at latest.

The event benefits Chicago-based Active Transportation Alliance.
