Chicago History Museum receives national honor

WASHINGTON (WLS) -- The Chicago History Museum was honored Wednesday at the White House.

First Lady Michelle Obama presented the history museum with the National Medal for Museum and Library Services.

It's the highest honor a museum can receive for their service to their community.

10 other institutions honored today as well.
