Man, 21, fatally shot in Gresham

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 21-year-old man was fatally shot Saturday evening in Gresham neighborhood on the city's South Side, police said.

At about 6 p.m., the man was in a vehicle in the 8600-block of South Ashland Avenue when the shooter reached across the driver and fired multiple shots at the victim police said.

The man was shot in the chest and arm. He was pronounced dead at St. Bernard Hospital.

No one was in custody Saturday evening.
