Man wanted in Hammond bank robbery

HAMMOND, Ind. (WLS) -- Hammond police and the FBI are searching for a man wanted for robbing a northwest Indiana bank.

William Rostin, 50, is charged with robbery and accused of holding up the BMO Harris Bank on Sibley Avenue in Hammond on May 28.

Investigators say he got away with more than $2,000.

Rostin is known to frequent Hammond, Crown Point, Calumet City and Chicago.

Anyone with information should contact Hammond police or the Chicago FBI.
