NAPERVILLE, IL (NEWS RELEASE) (WLS) -- The Exchange Club of Naperville and the 2016 Ribfest Committee are putting the final touches on the 29th Ribfest which will be held July 1, 2016 to July 4, 2016 in Knoch Park, Naperville.

The family festival is set to return with four days of food, fun and music, all with a purpose. Over the past 28 years, $14.5M has been donated from Ribfest proceeds to more than 50 local agencies, all working to prevent and eliminate child abuse and domestic violence.

About Ribfest

Ribfest is put on annually by the dedication of the members of the Exchange Club of Naperville - and nearly 4000 volunteers! The focus on Family and Fun is evident by the ever popular Family Fun Time - every day from noon - 3PM tickets at each gate are $12 for adults, kids 11 and under are ALWAYS FREE AT RIBFEST! Plus, you can buy a carnival wristband for $10 / person and enjoy unlimited carnival rides from noon - 3PM.

More than just ribs, Ribfest also hosts more than 40 other food vendors with offerings for every appetite. Gracing the Navistar Main Stage will be national headliners 3 Doors Down, Moon Taxi, Sister Hazel, Sheryl Crow, Craig Campbell, Lee Brice, Gin Blossoms and Tonic and more. OneMain Financial Stage lineup includes One More Time, Heartsfield, 3 AM, Mike Wheeler, Lil Red and the Howlin' Wolves and more!

"We are very excited about our entertainment lineup this year" stated Jen Odin Cavalier 2016 Ribfest Chair. "This is a party with a purpose and on our second stage we have acts like the Ides of March with Jim Peterik and Chicago Bluesman Toronzo Canon, so we are hoping to raise as much money as we can to help end domestic violence and child abuse."
