Lottery ticket worth $700K sold in Des Plaines

DES PLAINES, Ill. (WLS) -- A northwest suburban gas station sold a winning lottery ticket worth $700,000 in Sunday night's drawing.

Illinois Lottery officials said the winning ticket matched all five numbers - 01, 04, 05, 14, 44. It was purchased at the Mobil in the 9600-block of Golf Road in Des Plaines.

The winner should sign the back of their ticket immediately and keep it in a safe place until they are able to visit one of five area prize centers, lottery officials said. Winners have one year from the original drawing date to claim their prize.
