Disney's newest princess debuts on Mag Mile

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Disney's newest princess made her debut on Chicago's Magnificent Mile Wednesday.

"Elena of Avalor" is featured in a window display at the Disney Store on Michigan Avenue. The Latina princess is the star of a new animated series on the Disney Channel.

Actress Jenna Ortega, who voices Elena's younger sister Princess Isabel on the show, was in Chicago for the unveiling. The show premiers July 22.

Disney is the parent company of ABC and this station.
