GARY, Ind. (WLS) -- A grandmother is in jail in Northwest Indiana after being charged with kidnapping her young grandson.

Police say Dollie Tecaxco, 36, and 17-year-old Timothy Jackson forced their way into a home in Gary back in April and held the homeowners at gunpoint. They then kidnapped Jackson's baby son, who is a ward of the state and was in foster care at the house.

Tecaxco is charged with burglary, two counts of kidnapping and two counts of assisting a criminal.

Jackson is still on the run.
