Man wearing wolf mask robs DeKalb bank

DEKALB, Ill. (WLS) -- Police are searching for a man who robbed a DeKalb bank while wearing a wolf mask on Friday.

DeKalb police responded to a call from the Fifth Third bank on the 2700 block of Sycamore Road around 4 p.m.

According to police the man was armed. He's described as black, about 6 feet tall, medium build and was wearing a wolf mask, red hat, blue jeans and a long sleeve blue shirt.

Police say the armed suspect demanded money from the clerk, climbed over the counter and stole money. He was last seen running westbound from the bank.

The employees at the bank were not injured.

The suspect is not in custody. Police are encouraging anyone with information to contact their Detective Division, Crime Stoppers or to use the I Watch app on a smart phone.
