Firefighters battle extra-alarm blaze in Maywood

MAYWOOD, Ill. (WLS) -- Firefighters battled a two-alarm fire Wednesday morning at a home in west suburban Maywood.

Crews were seen outside the two-story, wood-framed house near South 5th Avenue and Maple Street around 6 a.m., trying to douse the flames shooting through the roof.

There were no reports of injuries.
