Demonstrators picket suburban school board meeting

EVANSTON, Ill. (WLS) -- Demonstrators picketed a suburban school board meeting, calling for a new teacher's contract in Evanston and Skokie.

The protesters marched outside the Monday night School District 65 board meeting.

A district spokesperson told ABC7 Eyewitness News that negotiations with the teacher's union are ongoing and the issue was not on the night's meeting agenda.
