1 killed, 1 wounded in Near North Side shooting

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A shooting int he Near North Side neighborhood left one man dead and another wounded Sunday morning.

Police said the shooter was leaving a restaurant in the 100-block of West Division Street at about 4 a.m. when he pulled out a gun and opened fire, hitting two people, police said.

A 20-year-old man was killed and a 30-year-old man was transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in serious condition.

The shooter fled the scene in a Chevy Tahoe. Police are investigating and no one is in custody.
