Teacher saves 5-year-old running on freeway alone

HOUSTON (WLS) -- A teacher pulled a boy to safety after finding him running along a freeway near Houston.

His dad said 5-year-old Alex has some behavior problems and just took off from home and ran into traffic.

Fortunately, Roberto Derrano spotted Alex, got out of his car, and grabbed him as a truck was barreling toward him.

Later, Serrano stopped by the boy's house to see how he was doing.

He promised to check on Alex again.
