Teenage girl, infant son missing, police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police issued a missing persons alert for 15-year-old mother and her one-month-old child on Tuesday.

Makayla Bennett-Poindexter was last seen on Nov. 22 near the 8000-block of South Maplewood Avenue wearing a blue winter coat and a purple robe, police said.

Police believe she is with her one-month-old son, Caleb Bennett, who is also missing.
