CHICAGO (WLS) -- Five Chicago police officers involved in the killing of Laquan McDonald are due in court Thursday.

Superintendent Eddie Johnson has recommended that all of those officers be fired for breaking department rules.

A grand jury is considering whether those officers took part in a cover-up. One of those officers, Jason Van Dyke, faces first degree murder charges.
