LEMONT, Ill. (WLS) -- Lemont High School was evacuated as a precaution Friday morning, after the school received an email about a bomb threat.

Local authorities recommended evacuation to ensure the safety of students, faculty and staff, school officials said. Law enforcement checked out the building to make sure it was safe and is investigating the threat. School officials said the content of the email could not be shared.
