Chicago police holding open house Saturday for potential new recruits

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police are holding an open house for people interested in becoming a police officer.

It is part of CPD's "Be The Change" campaign to have more diversity among its officers.

It runs from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the training academy near Jackson Boulevard and Throop Street on the Near West Side.

Applications for the April exam will be accepted through the end of next month. For more information, click here.
