2 Chicago police officers hurt in Humboldt Park crash

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Two Chicago police officers were injured in a car crash in the Humboldt Park neighborhood Sunday evening.

The officers were on their way to a reported shooting near Hamlin Avenue and Division Street when a woman hit their squad car at a 4-way stop sign intersection at approximately 11:20 p.m. The police vehicle then hit a parked car.

The woman was not seriously injured. The officers' injuries are described as very minor.

The police squad car had its emergency lights and siren on at the time of the accident.
