CHICAGO (WLS) -- Two firefighters were hurt in a fire that spread through multiple buildings in Back of the Yards Saturday night.

The first broke out in the 4700-block of South Bishop around 10 p.m. and spread to four buildings including a coach house. Flames were visible along the roof line of one of the homes as firefighters worked to bring it under control.

"There's just a lady and her dog that were rescued from the fire," said Dep. Chief Jim Soludczyk. "We also had a vacant structure to the south, a little bit of fire in there, we were able to extinguish that pretty rapidly."

Two other people were treated for minor injuries. Both firefighters are expected to be okay.
