2 job fairs for veterans in Chicago area Thursday

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Two efforts in the Chicago area are aimed at making sure U.S. veterans have access to resources after serving our country.

Home Depot teamed up with RecruitMilitary to host a job fair for veterans at Soldier Field from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. Thursday.

More than 400 veterans are expected to attend to learn about new job opportunities.

There's a similar event in suburban North Chicago at the Forrestal Community Center from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Thursday.

More than 80 job and resource vendors will take part.
