2 women critically injured after car flips on Near West Side

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Two women were extricated from a car involved in a rollover crash on Chicago's Near West Side.

Police said the vehicle struck a median, flipped and landed on its roof near West Madison and North May streets around 3:50 a.m. Monday.

Two women were rescued from the car and rushed to Stroger Hospital, where they are both listed in critical condition.

Investigators are looking into what caused the crash. No other vehicles were involved
