Daley Plaza rally kicks off annual Chicago Bike Week

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Bicyclists rolled into Daley Plaza Friday morning to kick off the 26th annual Chicago Bike Week.

A rally was held in Daley Plaza with free giveaways and bike-themed entertainment and educational programming.

It comes as Chicago was just named the number one cycling city in the nation by Bicycling Magazine.

The event promotes bicycling across the city along with bike safety.
