Man charged with murder after 2 found dead in Oak Lawn mobile home fire

OAK LAWN, Ill. (WLS) -- An Oak Lawn man has been charged with two murders after a fire in a mobile home earlier this month.

The bodies of 47-year-old David Danna and 59-year-old Randy Chabala were found after the fire in the 9000-block of South Cicero Avenue in Oak lawn on June 8, police said.

An autopsy determined that one man died of burns and stab wounds and the other died from burns and other injuries.

On Sunday, police announced Gerardo Alonso, 30, has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder. He is being held with no bond.
