"Today is the day we're officially announcing the Fall Out Boy Fund. A way for us to give back to Chicago," the band tweeted.

Fall Out Boy said they are teaming up with Back to the Roots, a company that helps people grow their own food and learn more about where it comes from, to provide 20,000 Chicago elementary school students with organic gardening kits and food education.
The band is also launching a campaign, called Fall Out Boy Champion, to honor local heroes across the country. "Champions" will get two tickets to a Fall Out Boy show, and the band will make a donation to a charity of their choice.
