CHICAGO (WLS) -- Freezing rain that began falling Sunday created some slick roads for the morning commute across the Chicago area.

A Winter Weather Advisory was in effect for the Chicago area until 6 a.m. Monday because of the conditions.

Monday morning, some fog and light drizzle remained and cold surfaces could create slippery conditions on untreated sidewalks or parking lots.
