CHICAGO (WLS) -- A fire that broke out Monday night on Chicago's Northwest Side left several people displaced, including children.

Flames and smoke tore through a building in the 3500-block of West Fullerton Avenue, which had stores on the first floor and apartments in the floors above.

Several people were displaced in this fire, including children.

Everyone who was in the building made it out safely. None of the residents were hurt, but one firefighter reportedly sustained minor injuries and is expected to be OK.
