Snowball event raises money for Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago
The Junior Council will be holds its 30th annual Snowball event on Jan. 27 at the Field Museum.

The Junior Council will be holds its 30th annual Snowball event on Jan. 27 at the Field Museum.

Snowball, Chicago's premier black tie event for young professionals, will raise money for the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago's mission of providing care to all children regardless of a family's ability to pay.

The Junior Council, comprised of Chicago area young professionals, specifically raises funds for the Special Infectious Diseases Clinic, which includes the Pediatric & Adolescent HIV/AIDS Program.

Snowball usually draws about 2,000 people and features a night of fun, food and dancing. The event includes tastings from more than 20 Chicago restaurants, a silent auction, live band, DJ and open bar.
