CHICAGO (WLS) -- Many pieces of artwork were featured at the 35th annual Black Creativity Gala, which was held Saturday night at the Museum of Science & Industry.
The event pays tribute to the culture, heritage and scientific contributions of African Americans.
Among the artwork was a painting by young artist Lorenz King of Chicago's Chance the Rapper.
In addition to celebrating young artists, the event also raised money to support the Black Creativity program at MSI.
