3 men charged in Wauconda apartment shooting

WAUCONDA, Ill. (WLS) -- Three men were charged in an apartment shooting in northwest suburban Wauconda, according to the Daily Herald.

The Herald reports the suspects face numerous charges, including attempted murder.

Police said the victim was visiting his girlfriend's apartment on Sunday when three rival gang members broke in and shot him. He is recovering from his injuries.

One of the suspects is due in court on Friday.
