3 teens shot in North Austin

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Three teens were shot and wounded Saturday evening in the North Austin neighborhood on the West Side, police said.

Shortly before 7 p.m., the male teens were standing on a corner in the 1200-block of North Parkside when the shooter came out from an alley and fire shots, police said.

A 17 year old was shot in the chest and taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital in serious condition.

A 15 year old was shot in the buttocks and abdomen and also taken to Mt. Sinai in serious.

Another boy, 15, was shot in the lower leg and taken to Loyola University Medical Center in good condition.
