Incredible surveillance video was released of a man police said lit a CTA car on fire during the evening rush hour in January.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Incredible surveillance video was released of a man police said lit a CTA car on fire during the evening rush hour in January.

Firefighters responded about 5:15 p.m. on January 18 to the Red Line train after it was stopped at the Argyle station at 1118 W. Argyle, according to the Chicago Police and Fire departments.

On the video you can see accelerant spilled at the suspect's feet right before police rush into make an arrest, flames erupting in their path.

The man was taken into custody at the scene.

The suspect, a CTA employee and a police officer were all treated for minor injuries or smoke inhalation from the fire.
