Car runs into house in Elk Grove Village

ELK GROVE VILLAGE, Ill. (WLS) -- A car ran into a home in northwest suburban Elk Grove Village Wednesday afternoon.

The crash happened at Mitchell Trail and Nerge Road. At least one person was reportedly trapped in the vehicle.

Emergency crews are at the scene. The circumstances of the crash have not yet been released.
