No injuries in small plane crash in Schaumburg

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. (WLS) -- Schaumburg police said a small plane went down in a field just west of the Schaumburg Airport Friday night.

The pilot was not injured, police said.

Illinois State Police are investigating with assistance from Schaumburg police and Hanover Park police. The Federal Aviation Authority is also investigating the crash.

No further details have been released.
