Van carrying special needs passengers crashes near South Holland, 3 injured

SOUTH HOLLAND, Ill. (WLS) -- A van carrying passengers with special needs crashed on I-80/94 near South Holland Tuesday afternoon, injuring three people.

Illinois State Police said the van crashed into a guardrail near the I-394 in the eastbound lanes around 3:15 p.m.

The three victims were all taken to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries, state police said.

Further details about the crash and the victims have not been released. Traffic was not impacted.
