Naperville City Council to consider pet store warranty requirement
Tuesday night the Naperville City Council will consider a requirement for pet stores to offer warranties on animals sold at their stores.

NAPERVILLE, Ill. (WLS) -- Tuesday night the Naperville City Council will consider a requirement for pet stores to offer warranties on animals sold at their stores.

The proposal would require stores to offer a four year "hereditary and congenital warranty" on all dogs and cats.

The ordinance would also add protections against dogs barking incessantly and being left outside.
