CHICAGO (WLS) -- Quick actions by police helped save the life of a teen struggling in a Chicago lake.

Officers David Sodetz and Robert McDonald responded to a distress call Tuesday at Wolf Lake on the city's far southeast side. They swam out and helped the 17-year-old, who appeared exhausted 200 feet from shore.

The teen was treated at Trinity Hospital and is expected to recover.
