Sisters, ages 8 and 10, located after reported missing from Uptown

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Police said the sisters reported missing from Chicago's Uptown neighborhood have been found.

Earlier Thursday, Tamrell Ashley, 10, and La'rell Ashley, 8, were reported missing. Police said they were last seen near Lawrence and Kenmore avenues around 6 p.m. Wednesday.

At the time, police said it was possible the girls were with their mother, who does not have custody of them. She lives in East Chicago.

No other information was immediately available.
