CHICAGO (WLS) -- Hundreds hit the streets to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Thursday night.

A coalition of activists and young people marched from Village Leadership Academy to the Cook County Juvenile Detention Center.

They say the event was aimed at "reclaiming the radical legacy" of Dr. King.
