Strong-arm robberies reported in Buena Park-Uptown

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Police are warning residents of strong-arm robberies in the city's southern Uptown neighborhood.

In both of the incidents, which occurred in the 4400 and 4500-blocks of Sheridan Wednesday at 2:10 a.m. and 2:15 a.m., victims were approached by two male offenders yelling gang slogans, police said. The offenders then allegedly struck the victims and robbed them.

The two offenders are described as the following:

  • White male, 20 to 30-years-old, between 5-foot-7 and 6-foot-3 weighing 150-200 pounds
  • Hispanic or black male, around 5-foot-10 between 150-180 pounds
