Alec Kuznitsky, Fremd HS student, confessed to sending obscene email, police say

PALATINE, Ill. (WLS) -- An 18-year-old Fremd High School student is facing misdemeanor charges after police say he confessed he sent an obscene photo in a mass email to students at two northwest suburban high schools.

Palatine police said Alec S. Kuznitsky, of Schaumburg, told a Fremd staff member on Friday that he was responsible for sending the sexually explicit email.

The e-mail was sent using the internal student email system to almost all of the 5,400 students at William Fremd High School and Palatine High School in Palatine on Tuesday, police said.

Palatine police arrested Kuznitsky and charged him with disorderly conduct.

He was released on a recognizance bond and is due in court on March 10.
