CHICAGO (WLS) -- The 32nd annual Chicago Blues Festival will honor Muddy Waters and Willie Dixon this summer, the mayor's office said.

The blues fest will be held from June 12-14. Admission is free.

A special tribute performance will be held to honor Waters, the "father of modern Chicago blues," and Dixon, the "poet laureate of the blues," will perform at the Petrillo Music Shell on Sunday, June 14.

The mayor's office said a complete lineup and performance schedule will be released in the spring.
